JONATHAN SLAFF (ORGANIZER)
Jonathan Slaff was an early AIDS activist, drawn into the cause in 1985-6 as collaborator with his brother on the first authoritative popular book on AIDS, "The AIDS Epidemic: How You Can Protect Yourself and Your Family, Why You Must" by James I. Slaff, MD and John K. Brubaker (Warner Paperbacks). Professionally, he is a theatrical press agent, performing media relations and audience development services for cultural institutions, professional theater and dance companies, fundraising and civic events, government agencies, NGO's and self-producing artists of various kinds, primarily in New York City and vicinity. HEATHER ALEXA WOODFIELD
Heather Alexa Woodfield is the Executive Director of One Percent for Culture, an NYC cultural advocacy organization, and a Founding Artist with the art collective, Calling All Parties. She is a strategist, coalition builder, and transdiciplinary artist. Heather is a graduate of New York University with a BFA in Film and Television from the Tisch School of the Arts and of Columbia University with an MPA from the School of International and Public Administration.
John McGarvey is Co-Founder of ClearQuest Group LLC, which was was initially created to work on our environmental patent projects and is now moving into the area of consulting and contracting, creating a "one stop shopping" solution based on clients needs, location and grant options. He is also Chairperson of Long Island City Boathouse. He has been an activist with Metropolis in Motion, Occupy Wall Street, Billionaires for Bush, and The Waterpod, an environmental art project barge that had all food, water, waste and power contained in dynamic living systems that traveled the five boroughs and Governors Island under the NYC Mayor's Office of Special Projects.
